2003 VISITATION TO GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK BY MONTH

Visitation to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park increased by approximately half a percent to 9.4 million people, continuing to reverse the declining trend in visitation from 1999 to 2001. The two largest increases in 2003 visitation to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park occurred in October and December, with increases of 12% and 17%, respectively.
